I have not seen this problem with ours yet but if turning up the speed doesn't help (first thought would be the motor's overloading because you're using hard foods in it on a low setting). If it shuts off even under light loads, judging by the manual it's something you need to send it in for. See if there's a service center in the area. These Kitchen Centers aren't made any more and it's unlikely you can fix it yourself.

I have a Breville 800BLXL/B blender that won't power on. When plugged in, the power button will not illuminate.

Most likely its the large yellow capacitor on the main circuit board. I've had this fail on my Breville coffee machine and blender. The coffee machine was a 1.5uf capicitor nd the blender 1.0uf.rated at 275vac. what happens is over the years of power spikes and surges etc the capacitor breaks down to a lesser value than its original "capacity. ie 1uf down to 0.3uf it provides enough power to drive the display electronics But not enough to power the relay to turn the motor on.
. there are 3 screws under the label. Peel off the label . remove the 3 screw. remove the fan cover.
to remove the fan . hold on to the blender jar mounting drive and unscrew the fan. a small square nut is what holds the fan on. remove the rubber feet an the 4 star screws under the rubber feet.
you can then remove the base.
Most likely the fuse is OK. However I've found ( in repairing mine) the big yellow capacitor 1uf 275vac is at fault. over time and power surges it breaks down and cannot pass enough "power:" for the power supply to call the relay to turn on the motor. You van get a new capacitor from Jaycar ( aus or NZ ) for about $6.00 . unsolder the capacitor and solder a new one in. reassembly is reverse. Just be careful not to trap the micro swicth wires ( black) under the motor surround.

The coupling spins on my Waring Pro SDM50 2-Speed Blender, but it can be stopped by hand and does not spin under load. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

The most likely cause here is the motor brushes are going bad. That is dependent on how old it is and how many times it has been used. If this is new it should be replaced under warranty.

Motor won't run

Go to the manufacturer website and maybe you can have or get warranty repair. It could also still be under warranty.

Rewire blender

Simple answer; no.I don't know where you are but step-down transformers are a pretty common item (some are even reversible) but make sure that the transformer's power rating is adequate for the blender; for example: if the blender is rated at 200 watts or 1.8 amps (roughly the same at 110V) use a transformer rated at least 50% higher to avoid having the output 'sag' under load.

I have a new b&d Cyclone blender that I use daily to mix protien shakes (nothing hard). Two or three times a week it shuts down and flashes "ee" on the screen. Ihave to uplug it for several hours befor...

No expert, but I think here the safety shut off works much much more broadly than just dangerous overheating, possibly to avoid all physical harm lawsuits for anything imaginable. The reason could be any glitch, anything that affects the unimpeded speed of the blades, any maladjustment of the seated load. If the resetting takes hours something is definitely too sensitive or on the verge of crashing the safety alert again. Or this unadvertised extra sensitivity is a faulty device set way beyond specs or just plain broke.

May tag fridge freezerGS2625GEKS hi guys this is 4 years old unit i get ice blocking the vents on the bottom of the freezer and once a week water leakage on the floor can you please help

Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

While mixing anything the mixer will slow down and usually stop.

This is normal for household type blenders. Sounds like you do a lot of blending. Commercial blenders provide more power and can withstand lots of blending projects. Thicker the material the more load on the motor. As the motor heats up the winding become hot and the motor begins to breakdown,
I really hope this helps answer your question. If not please let me know... Thanks, Sea Breeze

Breville hand blender doesn't blend continuously

I have the same problem. Mine used to work, has only seen light use, and now it runs for about 1 second before it shuts off. Expensive POS. There don't seem to be any solutions either.
