Question about Cell Phones

1 Answer

Hi, I have a Motorola v360, with a broken LCD...The little screen on the outside is still good, but I can't read any text messages etc, and this is getting annoying because every 5 minutes it rings/vibrates telling me my inbox is full. I need to hear when someone calls, because I can't check after to read the missed calls...(lol) Can someone please tell me which buttons to press to delete ALL text messages? I can remember how to get into my inbox, but I can't remember what I need to do next. Thanks...

Thanks, but I really would just like to know how to delete all texts...I was planning on getting a new phone anyways, but I was just laid off unexpectedly, and don't have the cash to drop on a new

Step by step guidance (ex. "hit left soft key, push down arrow 3 times", etc)...would make my life so much easier for the time being :)

I know this isnt what your asking for but it may help you any way,you can get a new lcd fixture on ebay for about $25 and they are real easy to replace. There are four screws around the lcd these will require a t6 screwdriver then you use a credit card or somthing thin to pry away the outer housing.once you have that off and are looking at the lcd there will be either one or two flex cabes attached using tweezers pull these out now your screen is ready to come out then you just back track these steps with your new screens and you can see what your doing. It really is easy I promise, also when you get your old one out you will want to get the outer glass off it to put on the new one,be carfull taking the adhesive off so you dont crack it.Good luck if you choose to take this route

To disable predictive texting on Motorola V360:

  1. Select the "Texting," "Text Messaging" or similar option on the menu screen.
  2. Choose the "Text Options" or "Options" selection on the "Text Messaging" screen. Choose "New Message" or "New Msg" if no "Options" selection is available, then press the button associated with the "Options" selection found on the blank message screen.
  3. Select "Entry Mode" on the screen. A list of options appear.
  4. Select a non-iTap mode, such as "Symbols" or "abc2." Press "OK." The iTap entry mode is disabled.

When you flip open the motorola V360 the screen is white. You can make and receive calls but the numbers you enter do not appear on the screen.

Hi. Most probable the flex cable is broken. (The cable that connects the 2 parts of your phone). It`s a cheap part and easy to replace in a service, or if you know how you can do it yourself (not recommended if you never did something like this before!!!)

Broken screen

Can you see enough of the screen to send the test to your e-mail address or another cell telephone?

I suspect you could retrieve the message after a repair job to your phone ... but I also suspect, you don't want to pay the big $ for a repair.

hello there ....its quite need to call the customer care of your network provider and ask them to register and activate your sim card is free...just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....and your sim card number (19 digits mostly)on the back of your sim card the little chip that you put in your phone

that should solve the problem.....

you can also ask the for some freebies text message ,photo and videos messages ...many companies promote them....always good to try something for free before you start using it

hope this help

Carry out the 'Master Clear' function. First save all your contacts by synchronizing with Motorola Phone Tools. Go to Settings>Initial Setup> Master Clear, and do a Master Reset as well. Worked for me

Broken screen and text messages

I broke my screen too and this is what i did to read them:

my friend has the same menu as me (both verizon users) and so held his phone in one hand and my broken on in the other. then what ever i did on his phone i did with my phone.

I basically went into my inbox (blindly basically) and individually forwarded the messages to his phone...after i read them, i replied in the same manner using my phone.

Its kind of alot of work, its worth it and it gets the job done...I could read my texts!

Hope this works
