Vista can be a real stubborn operating system when it wants to be. Not all older games are compatible with Vista. Vista does offer a work around that can resolve this issue, some times. What you will need to do is find the executible file that starts the installation routine. This may be called setup, or install. Right click on the file with your mouse. In the menu that shows up, click on properties. Under this selection, you will find a tab that says compatibility. Click on this, and put a check mark in the box which says "Windows XP (Service Pk)" Click ok, and then try to reinstall the program. If the program is already installed, do the same thing in the icon that you click on to start the program. Good Luck.
