The T'Con board of your Sony TV is faulty. It should be replaced with same type and number. This baord can be located on the top back side of the LCD panel, and you have to open your TV to access it. There are two types of baords comes fitted with this KDL-EX models. Pictures of both are given here. You must have knoledge in elctroncis to replace this board. Actually this is a semi-skilled work. If you want its service manual, which has all the details about the repair work, you have to buy one amoung my Sony KDL services, advertised on new Fixya site.

Yes it was, so what's the ballpark figure $$$ wise I mean. Here is what happen some1 threw a lighter at my tv..it made as male ding in it, but now TV doesn't turn on the red light beeps 5 times and the green light beeps 4
