Verifier cable signal...... That is what is said when I trun on my computer.

The monitor usually goes to the power save mode if there is no Video signal input. Check your VGA/HDMI cable(the cable which is connecting the monitor and the system) try bloing air through the connectors and reconnect the cable properly. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Have you tried an other VGA/DVI cable??? did you tryed an other monitor??? the inverter board is usually a slim board near the cable connector input with two ballast (wire windings with ferrite cases) depending on the price you paied and the year of the monitor it could be cheaper to buy a new one... try pressing the MENU button on the monitor if the menu is dark as well than it's devinitively the inverter...

Check all of your cables - VGA / DVI mainly in the back of the monitor and the back of the PC.

Check in fuse panel area for a second flasher. Usually 1 for hazard, & 1 for signals. If signals don't illuminate at all when signals on, check for fuse in panel.
