first you need to forward TCP ports in your router pls write down which TCP ports used for video , audio and control in your DVR and configure to forward this tcp ports in your router it can be do one step using disable the DMZ and it will make less sequrity in your internal network
For that you need to change wireless channel type in router.
You can also configure it with below method.
Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router.
Then click on wireless->wireless channel type to 3 or 6 or 11 then save settings and restart router.

You need to reset your router to defaults then configure it again then it will work fine. For that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Click on WAN settings and set those settings as your internet service provider settings. Enable DHCP if you want to get ip from router. Click on wireless settings enable wireless then enable WEP Security then add WEP code .It is your password to connect wi fi.Then save settings and restart router. Then you can connect your wi fi network with that code.

You will have to reset the router to factory settings. There is a small hole in the back, depress the microswitch with a paper clip when the power is on. The default password is 1234. Some of these devices are general, while others are hardwired to work with certain providers. So if, say, this 660 is branded with embarq it is unlikely that you can set the parameters to work with other providers.
I should mention that if you care about security you should not use WEP - a cracker can break an internet connected WEP device in minutes with the right toolset. The protocol has many problems that simply can't be fixed, period. Consider using WPA2 with WPA backcompatability, as allowed by the 660.
hello i had the same problem after i reconfigured mine i could not gain internet access but as it turns out i hadnt payed my bill so it wouldnt allow me access with the same router as you
p.s my isp was digiweb
