Revising extension directory on LCD

I need to make some updated revisions to our inhouse extension directory. I press, Menu, then extension directory, but it doesn't give me the option of making changes.

I have a KX-T7633 and we just got another cordless extension phone but the person who set it up for us didn't program the button on all of our corded phones. How do I add that extension to the rest of the phones?

Correct. Changes are done in system programming. In a TDA it resides in system program 004. You get there by going to the main phone or phone used to program, dial PROG **1234 004 and enter the extension number of the name you want to change. It will display the present name and let you use the keypad to spell out new names. For example 2 gives you ABCabc2. The right arrow steps to the next character and ENTER saves it.

RINGING

If you have the correct manual, then follow the programming instructions from the phone connected to the 1st jack (ext 11) or 101.

It may be that you have a 61610 circle 3 and a manual for some other revision, or vice versa. Ringing is programmed around 07 08 or 09 in most of the 616 and 308 systems, and in the 406-9 area in the TA series.
