Acer Ferrari 4000 Laptop not working on AC current.

Risp. Sir,

I have one Acer Ferrari 4000 Laptop which is not working on AC Adapter, However it does get charged and works on Battery. Please help me how can i solve the issue.

If the AC adapter is not working, does the battery not get charged when it is in the laptop? In other words, is there some other way the battery is being charged? Is it that the PC will not operate when the battery is out of the machine and the AC adapter only is present for power? If so, make sure that the power profile you are running under is set to allow the adapter to power the machine. To check this power setting (in XP), right-click on a blank section of your screen, choose Properties > ScreenSaver > Power. There could also be an issue within the Acer software utilities; particularly, it would be recommended to verify the settings in ePower Management.

This will help to ensure that there is no issue with the adapter itself; though, if the battery is charging using the adapter it appears that is not the problem.

Beyond this, I would say that the primary determinant lies in how the battery is being charged. If it is being charged with the usage of that adapter, then the problem would apparently lie with the connection of the adapter inside the notebook, for which a qualified technician will be required. If your machine is still under warranty, and it is determined there is some type of faulty connection, that should be covered.

The battery is fully charged, and the ac adapter is plugged into the laptop, when i push the on button the laptop will not start


Remove the battery and power source. Remove the RAM and hdd. Power up with the power supply and it should do something. If it does, replace the RAM and hdd it should now restart. If nothing, check the GPU.

How do I get the battery out of my acer laptop

. I suspect that the information you have been given regarding battery removal and passwords refers to removing the cmos battery as in a PC in the hope that it will clear Bios activated passwords.

Button keeps blinking


It sounds like it could be either the battery is going bad and not holding a charge or the adapter is. I have had really good luck with similar problems going to places like Batteries +, and large electronic retailers, and my favorite the small local mom and pop computer store; where I end up asking them If I could try one of the adapters from the floor model to eliminate if is a faulty adapter. I've a acer laptop model no 4820T. In this touchpad option not working but left and right button was working.... wats the problem n wat to do? tel me soon............."


Try the following: Using your FN key and the F7 Key together it might work again. You could have toggled the touchpad off. If that does not work you have issues with either the touchpad or the operating system. Best of Luck.

HOW TO ENABLE BLUETOOTH IN THIS NOTEPAD ?


The Acer Aspire is a high-performance laptop that includes a fast processor, widescreen display and an internal wireless card. In addition to these premium features, certain models also include one-touch Bluetooth access. If you have an Acer, enabling the Bluetooth is very easy and will only take a few seconds.

1.Turn on your computer and wait for Windows to fully boot. Then log in as an administrator. You will not be able to use Bluetooth under a non-administrator account.

2.Press the button with the Bluetooth symbol on the left side of the computer. This will launch the Bluetooth utility. From here you can sync and manage Bluetooth peripherals.

3.Press the Bluetooth button again to disable Bluetooth. This will disable all connections, but the utility will save your settings so the same devices will sync with the computer again when Bluetooth is re-enabled.

Mouse and keyboard have no power


If your mouse and keyboard work properly with another computer or laptop the problem could be :
A) if devices are USB :
- defective USB port : chose another USB port;
- USB port inactivated in BIOS : check and activate;
- motherboard defective : replace motherboard.
B) if devices are PS/2 :
- damaged PS/2 ports : buy a PS/2 to USB adapter for your mouse/keyboard or buy USB mouse and keyboard;
- motherboard defective : replace it.
