Question about GoVideo Go Video DVD/VCR Combo
Hey all.New here.
I have a Samsung HT-TZ315 home theater system at home,I live in Turkey and usually pick Turkish subtitles for movies.Anyways, when I plug in my flashdisk from the usb and want to play the divx movies,English .srt files seem to be working fine, but for Turkish .srt files all Turkish characters are replaced with "_" s,thus making it unreadable. Is there any way for me to make the dvd player recognize and show the Turkish characters ?.Should I just call the technical service for this?.I was also looking for the "region free" codes and found it here as well.Great site. Thanks a bunch.
Regards from Turkey.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Bad disk
if this disk plays on other sources then it is not the disk and sounds like it is a problem with the laser or the motor that pushes the laser along the disk if it dont play no disk at all then it is the layser if you have used a good quality lense cleaner and that didnt cure it then you could try if you are ok taking the case off leave it for 24 hours to make sure no electric is running through it and look where the laser eye is it should be neer the middle where the center of the cd sits if it isnt gently push it back to the middle this will recalibrate your laser then put it back together and try again if this dont work you will then have to get a replacement laser unit these can be expensive but you should be able to fit it your self as the wire areconected by conector but before you do this make sure you use a good lense cleaner as the cheaper ones wont work all the time and listen if the cd is spinning in the unit if its not spinning then you need replace the unit if you dont feel up to it then a repair shop will do this for you their si no way round it other than to replaceit they usually last the life of the warranty they are made to last no longer hope this is some help but not much more you can do

SOURCE: DVD sound problem
Go into the setup menu into the audio options (use arrows on remote to go up and down menu and press left to enter the next menu to change options). By memory when I was running this just through a TV and not through a surround sound system, I had to turn off the addition speaker options in the audio menu. The one's like centre speaker etc have an small/large/off option. I had to turn these off so that all sound would come through the TV speaker only. That is about all I remember as I was trying to get this running for my aunt and I no longer have the DVD player.

Try the program Sub2Divx (I have the same DVD sony dvp-ns67p worked properly). It takes just 2 minutes to put the subtitle in divx and is not fixed, only appears when tight subtitle on the remote control. I have a link to a tutorial but it is in Portuguese.
