I have been having trouble with my wi-fi for over a week now. (My wife has the IDENTICAL laptop, with no same experience). Basically, the wi-fi seem OK except when I download files or listen to a webcast. Seems "irratic" from a timing standpoint, but for no reason the wi-fi shuts down after 10-20 min of D/L. Wi-fi signal is strong for my wife's laptop - but mine goes to zero. What should I do.

Actually, Wi-Fi is another term for Wireless Network. Well, the answer to you question is Yes, it is a wi-fi ready machine. You don't need any additional hardware to access a Wi-Fi network, in other words, it is a wi-fi certified machine. Hope this helps.
