ON your remote there should be an audio button. Whilst in play made press this button and you should see an on screen sysmbol such as Dolby 5.1 Scroll through these options until you get the desiered track. Basically all DVD films carry different tracks and formats such as DTS Dolby ETc

How to turn off audio commentary when it is playing some films?

On the remote will be either a button marked "status" "display" or "sound mode". Push that when the DVD is playing. If you see "1 English" or "2 English" or even "commentary" in the OSD. Then you have found the way to change the soundtrack. Pressing the up, down, or sideways arrow keys should take you to the place of the "1 English" etc and highlight it. You should then be able scroll to one that turns off the commentary off. For example 1 English might meant just the normal soundtrack in English, 2 English might add subtitles. If the film has other languages these will also appear. Some might have Dolby soundtracks and other modes so if you want these make certain you select them.
Sorry I can't be precise as to which button to press as you didn't state make or model number.

I cant get the tv to go through the surround sound i can only get the surround sound to play when its a dvd playing do i need another wire to go from the dvd player or will it not work no matter what plz...

If you've got the Audio Input Source set as TV-Audio and it won't play as Surround Sound then you'll need to connect the Audio Out from your TV (if it has one?) to the Audio AUX IN on your LH-T360SE and change the Audio Input Source to AUX.

Lg dvd player LH-T550 GOT GOOD PICTURE BUT NO SOUND

I work with TV's a lot normally when you have a picture but no Sound this is normal down to a Scart lead not being fully pushed into either the back of the TV or the DVD player.

Please Check the scart is in fully on both sides. This should sort this sound issue out for you.

If this fixes the problem please leave a thumbs up

Thanks

LG DvD Reciever (LH-T550) issue (Xbox 360/ TV sound)

I dont know about a universal remote my friend but a remote is defo needed to ajust and alter sound settings , I have the same system and it can not be done with the reciever alone. The AUX button on the remote has to be activated to get sound thru LG speakers providing your game console is connected to your TV, then a set of audio cables from your TV via the (OUT) ports (this is a must) back into you LG reciever. Goodluck

How to connect dvd player to AV reciever

S-Video is a media type that only carries video. Unfortunately the LG unit was designed only to be a self contained surround sound unit. There are only video outputs to the television on this unit. Because of the unit having surround sound capabilities, LG felt that their wasn't a need for audio output. You would need to buy a new DVD player to allow audio from the DVD to your new Yamaha unit. Good Luck!

LH-T550 Surround Sound System (LV)

Have u pressed the dvd/cd button on the dvd remote? I have had this set up for over 12 months and never had a problem with it. We have had my laptop connected to it playing mp3s from it through media player, had the karaoke machine connected up to it through the surround sound. It also plays mp3 cds which u may have created yourself.
