To check the pico fuses you're merely testing for continuity. If you get an infinate reading you're in good shape - if it doesn't budge the meter the fuse is open... That's a really easy set to work on for convergence problems - the convergence board is easily removed..
Another cause for mis-alignment like that are the youke return resistors... There are several out front of the convergence amps that may have changed in value. They are 3.9 ohm - 2w resistors and will look identical to Rz123 and Rz124 (same banding). For those simply select a low ohm setting on the meter and check to see if any of them have some way low or way high reading...
Need anything else just ask...

SOURCE: Phillips 60PP920217F Convergence Problems

I have the same set and just fixed this problem toinght! I bought a couple of STK392-120s for $20 from www.electronix.com and with a soldering iron, heat sink compound and a solder sucker was able to do the job myself in a few hours. I did purchase the 6.8 ohm resistors too, but they all checked out find so I didn't replace them. There's a great site online at http://home.earthlink.net/~oleg.filippov/ConvergenceFix.htm that shows you the ropes, just not for this exact set. Once I did a multipoint reconvergence, the HD looks like new! This is at least a $600 service call from what I can gather, and if you're handy you can fix it yourself.

I would measure the old one and have a piece cut at a local glass store. All it is is a piece of plexiglass. You will save yourself over $200 doing this rather than ordering the Mitsubishi part number.

Older projection tv won't turn on.

id replace the tv its 15 years old and past the livlihood they usually have. it would cost more in parts to repair it than to go out and buy a new one. im sure you probably already know that though. have the tuner checked but i dont think it will save the tv but if it comes on when the cable box isnt hooked up then the problem could be in the tuner. its hard to tell. the tuner is about 100.00

Follow that traces that the cap is on, and see if it took out the fusable resistor and/or Diode.
