Standard 21 inch tv approximately seven years old. Picture is perfect but the audio is not working. When taping from the tv the sound does come through, but sound cannot be heard in the room. The mute button on the tv and the cable box are inactive. Do you know why we cannot hear the sound?

Can anyone help... I have BPL cv 21 model sp 2B. I have problem. By mistake my repairer have open data manu, and try to slow audio, by doing these he dont know which button he press.. now audio has gone, and auto setting is also not working

audio chep most be replaced or try to diag. from speaker wire test it with the tester if given power. if not try to check all capasito and resitor if given the right voltage.

If it is a CRT TV Then The CRT Unit Could Be Dead

Well you going to need a new tuner! Let me tell you now that digital is out or is comming your not going to find the part!!! Well if this has RCA inputs your in luck you buy a digital box around $60 bucks then put the tuner on it and you in luck and you saved your TV!!

try to change cord of video and the audio maybe the cord had a problem

To me, sounds like a picture tube issue. horizontal / vertical controls don't fix it. then its dead.

So, where are the answers?

I can only suggest you check your audio feeds from your VCR to your TV or to your home theater system tuner(if you have one)

Who said it cannot be fixed? You can try and hook an external speaker to wires and test for sound. Maybe audio outs have sound?
