When i receive a sms messages. it doesn't come up with the same time as on my phone. how do i change this?

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

if it is a gsm phone take out the sim and re insert it, the phone should receive sms's from the service provider for setting up mobile internet and mms, if this doesn't work try putting in another sim then the original one again.

You have to have the senders' name and number stored in your phonebook/contacts before it can show when you receive messages/calls from them

First make sure you have the SMS feature on your phone. Who's your wireless carrier? Sometimes the wireless carriers have network problems and interfere with sending messages. Also make sure person you are trying to message can also receive messages.You can turn cell off then on again and wait a bit and try again.I go through the same thing every now and then when person I am trying to message doesn't have any minutes on their phone.Just try again in a little while. To see your call durations on a Nokia phone.

• Press Menu
• Press Log, which is a green and blue arrow

That will get you into recent calls,,,,,,,,Missed, Received and Dialled calls.
Scroll down to Call Duration which will give you total time for , Last call, Dialled numbers, Received calls, and All calls.

SMS, go to Messaging

• Inbox tells you how many sms received
• scroll down to Sent messages to show how many sms sent.

But that depends on your settings on your phone, go to,

• Messaging
• Options
• Scroll to Settings
• Scroll to Other
• From there you can change Number of saved sent messages you can store.

Hi, issues like this are related to your Sim card (network),
not your Cell Phone . In most cases, regarding the text messages,
the problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the Sim card on another phone? If not,
remove the Sim card, insert it on another phone and try sending a message from another mobile to you number,
or you can do it in vise- versa by inserting another Sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even when it's inserted on another handset,
then you will need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell
them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try,
just check the text message settings and verify that the message
center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which
is on another phone with the same network (the other Sim should be
of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes
and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings..
(I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with
me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same Sim card doesn't receive text messages using another handset,
don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it,
first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

Go to your message setting.There, configure the sms time to match with your phone time. one love

restore the factory settings of your phone. that should do it.

Try deleting SMS messages one by one, then, after all the SMS messages are deleted, restart your phone. This worked on my W230 for a while, then it didn`t work anymore. You will have problems in receiving messages as well, soon. I don`t understand why Motorola doesn`t announce a solution to this problem. Maybe they don`t care. That`s why my next mobile phone wasn`t a Moto :)
