You could have problem with door lock. or lid switch. this part senses if the door is close.
if it is not functioning, it would interpret it as an open door and will not spin.will not drain either.

Will not fill with water, and continually beeps

Hi Shirley, Before you check out the link below read how To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall. Next, open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds to send a "reset" signal to all the components.(This is a common fix that many appliance repair mechanics use - it works on about 50% of all washing machines.) Once the reset has been completed set the washer to do a small load with no clothes in the washer. See if the washer goes through with the cycle as normal. If the washer performs correctly, then it has been reset and is fixed. If not refer to more troubleshooting techniques and causes of problems below.
If that did not solve the problem then it may be the "Lid Switch". Top loading washing machines that have a faulty lid switch will not turn the agitator and the spin cycle will not start. However on some washing machine models it will still agitate but not spin. To properly check this you must remove the lid switch.

Haier HLP21n blinking light error code.. Rinse and Spin lights blink...what does it mean?

This washer is a sanyo on the inside. When panasonic bought out sanyo and all its daughter brands, they started making parts not available for repairs. The service manual is here---> https://panasonic.encompass.com/shop/research_new/HAI/sm/HLP21N.pdf

I have a GWL11 Fisher Paykel washer. It was running fine then it was beeping and had stopped-- the spin light was the only one left on, although water is in it. Basin looks lower than I recall. It won't...

Hi just read you posting. Now when the machine was beeping was the spin light the only light that was on while it was beeping? If this is the case then my manual tells me your Motor Controller is faulty and needs replacing. Please confirm which light was on when the machine was beeping because the motor controller module is not cheap.Looking forward to your reply.

CYCLE WILL NOT COMPLETE

Hi

This would be due to the lid switch, the machine is designed that it will only spin and drain with the lid closed, if the lid switch goes bad the machine thinks the lid is open. Here is a link to a video that shows how to replace the switch.

WSSH300G0 won't spin - filter is clear

Check your lid switch, and the strike, which is the other half of the switch, and is attached to the lid (the switch is on the machine).

Stops drains and bleeps with only spin light illuminated

It sounds like you need to re programme the
machine.
With the machine plugged into the wall and
turned on and the headset turned off this is what
you do.
Push and hold down the start button, while doing that you need to then push and hold down the power button.
Hold them down for about 5 seconds, during
which time you may a series of up to 3 beeps.
Then release the buttons.
Turn the machine off and then on again followed by the start button. Allow the machine to then run the complete cycle.
This should correct your problem, if this doesn't then you may need to then look at replacing the computer panels.

Will not complete a wash cycle or rinse cycle, stops short

I think it maybe your lid switch. If the lid switch is out it will not spin and sometimes spin or drain. can you give me a model number so that I can further assist you?

Timer stops at the end of wash cycle, won't began drain cycle

if it fills and agitates but stops at the drain/spin portion, it sounds like you have a problem with the lid switch. if it thinks the lid is opne, it will not drain or spin.
