Question about Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator Platinum (230100037) Video Capture
It captures 0.08 seconds of a black screen, although it is correctly set up.
1) The AV comes from my Ps3 into a 4 way splitter.
2) 1 output goes to the TV
3) 1 output goes to Dazzle, which is connected to my PC.
I see no flaw with the setup, so I believe it must be a Software problem of some issue?
I had the exact same problem with version 11.1 and was able to resolve it by going to the pinnacle websaight and uploading the latest drivers.

That distribution amplifer may not be picked up by the Dazzle. The recommended way to use it is to plug the output specifically what you are capturing into the Dazzle and not to split the signal through wires or through a splitter. It may have trouble locking in on the signal since the amplification in the capture device is weak. It's also tough to get support from Pinnacle Systems having it hooked up that way.
Most of the Dazzle capture devices have amplifiers in them which could be causing the problem as well. It is capturing 3 seconds of the video and cutting it off as a safety feature to prevent something from blowing out. Typically happens on the audio feed if it is peaking in the audio meter.
