Where is the main circuit board located on a maytag MFI2568AEB refrigerator?

Sounds like the start capacitor has failed. They buzz when the fail and get hot..

this must be an older machine you can't get the computer board or alot of other parts for this,your most likely gonna have to replace this fridge

you may want to screw it back on i hear that it will help you to open it later and still have cold beer
failing that useing duct tape make your own hinge
duct tape also makes a great mouse trap

Look under the toe plate for the tech sheet. If it is missing the part number is 16026830

Pull out your WIDE-N-FRESH Deli Drawer at the bottom, and when the lid automatically raises look to the right: you'll find a sliding temperature controller that most likely is all the way up. Slide it down towards the bottom and this will cut back on the cool. Worked for ours!

i would unplug and start again,refer may be board.as you seem to know with out that code in there it wont work[been there done that]and you have to read carefully and do just as instructions say to pull it off.you can do it though. God bless ,tom

I have the same Maytage MFI2568AEB on the inside top left of the refrigerator the code is 0302, i still cannot enter the code, showing PEO OOO.

The capacitors on the high voltage board on the back are out. You will have to replace the board.

I have recently gone through same problem . The cose that was installed in the new control card for MFI2568AEW was 1411.

Power supply circuit on high voltage control board may fail.
cORECTION:
Order and install high voltage control board kit PN 12920710. The kit includes; control board, installation and programming
instructions, return label and card for the old part.
Note: As with all Refrigerators of this type, the correct “Personality Code” must be programmed into the new control board
per the instruction sheet provided.
