Question about Televison & Video
I hope this is as simple as making sure there are no speakers or other devices with magnets or tranformers in them next to the TV. When the TV is first turned on there is a demagnetizing coil (degause coil) that comes on and demagnetises the picture tube. If there is a magnet by the TV it will cause the problem you are seeing.
