Question about Sharp AR-M208 All-In-One Laser Printer
What does the L6-10 meassage mean?
L6-10 means your will be replacing the Laser Unit.... or if you have a very very good tech, you might be able to only replace the polygon motor. Typically is it cheaper and easier to replace the Laser Unit.
Sometimes Simulation 14 will clear this for a short time.. if it this code does not clear, a new laser unit is needed..
The Polygon Mirror is what the laser in the machine uses to write the image with, the motor which spins this is dead? The machine will not work without this.
The polygon motor does not rotate.
Check the polygon motor operation with SIM 61-1

Polygon mirror motor not up to speed. Check the motor, you power supply, and the board the motor it connected to.
