Question about Computers & Internet
I cleaned the fans of my Dell Optiplex GX260 desktop PC's fan and power supply unit. Thereafter I turned the PC on and it worked fine. I then replaced the hard disk and the PC didn't start again. When I checked inside, I observed an orange light on the motherboard. It stays permanently on but the PC won't start. HELP!
I'm experiencing orange light on motherboard and my PC"Dell" wont start anymore.
May i know what is the solution to resolve the problem on this?
it was just turned off accidentally while i was still on my work.
Your answer on this is greatly appreciated.

If all you did was change hard drive
I suspect the hard drive has been installed wrong
Ensure blue or red stripe goes to the number 1 pin on M/board and the stripe goes next to the 4 pin power supply on hard drive
