Check gas line. My line from the gas tank to engine had a small **** where it enters the tank. I pulled the the tube further into the tank and replaced spark plug. Unfortunately it still does not start. Do you think the **** in the line is still the problem even though it is inside the gas chamber?

Same problem. Slightly over 2 years old with only about 10 hours on it. Worked fine one day, then 2 weeks later wouldn't start. No spark at all. Tried new plug - nothing. Pulled everything apart to check connections, but everything seems okay.

I am having the same problem with my blower of the same model, no spark. Mine was manufactured in 09-05, so the warranty has ran out. I have not taken it apart yet, is it difficult to take apart and what should I look for? Is there anyway of diagnosing the ignition problem? What do replacement parts cost?

Have you checked your fuel filter? Check the return wire from the magneto on the flywheel & the GND wire connection on the coil. I do need a little more detail in steps you have attempted. I wish you well in your repair.

The blower stopped running and hasn't started since. Checked replaced plug and and its not getting any fire What to do?

If you aren't getting any spark then either the coil is bad or the coil is receiving a signal telling it not to fire... in that case, unplug the stop switch and retry.. if it still doesn't fire then the only other thing is to check the coil clearance . Use a business card, stick it between the flywheel magneto.and the coil tips... loosen the bolts on the coil and let the coil stick to the tighten back up the bolts, rotate the flywheel as u pull the card out... now try it. If you still have no fire then the verdict is a bad coil..

Ok I have no spark on my husqvarna 240 did the coil with the card truck but still no spark

if you checked your clearance and the wire is good going to the plug (no cuts) then most likely bad coil needs replaced.

What will happen if you don't have air gap between coil and flywheel on a small engine

The "Air Gap" is adjusted to create an electromagnetic "charge" between the magnets of the flywheel and the coil of the ignition system. Without the correct clearance it will not produce the spark necessary to fire the spark plug. When the magnets pass closely to the coil, to make it simpler, it produces this "charge" which is then amplified by the coil that can produce as much as 25-50,000 volts
I don't want to make this sound like rocket science, but the fact is if the coil touches the magnets it will wear out the coil and the magnets and not create the right spark. Too much clearance and it will not produce a spark. I first started working with small engines in the early-to-mid 60s and discovered that by taking a sheet of note-book paper and folding it into about three layers thick, placing it between the magnet and coil loosening the coil so that the magnet would pull the coil to make contact and tightening the coil in place. The clearance would then be satisfactory to make a good spark.
It would then be a simple matter to turn the flywheel to rotate the paper out from between the flywheel and coil.

Would a 2001 chryler town and country faulty engine module cause number 2 cylinder not to fire

not likely, since the engine module also fire the plug across from the #2 cylinder on the coil pack. check for spark directly at the coil, if none is found ,then most likely a bad coil pack.

Continualy turning over and wont fire up, Im getting a spark off all 4 plugs carbs appear to be clean just wont fre up

squirt a bit of aerostart in the air cleaner, if that makes it run its a carby fuel problem, if that doesnt make it fire, do compression test, check valve clearance , valve timing
