Sounds like your control board is shorted.Without actually checking the unit this is a guess.

My blower motor wont turn off in my furnance?

check the fan setting on your thermostat. On means always on, auto/int means only comes on during heating/cooling. if the thermostat is set to auto / int and the fan keeps running? you may have a bad fan relay switch. It may be integral on the primary control board of your unit.

Furnance running all the time never shuts off

Turn the thermostats fan position to Auto instead of ON. If it already is in Auto, then there is a fan relay stuck in the board.

The fan motor is on all the time with the controls shut off. I have to shut the unit off with the main breaker. The ac works but again the fan never shuts off. On the circuit board the LED flashes 8 times,...

The indoor fan or the outdoor fan? If it is the indoor fan the thermostat may be wired incorrectly or shorted. If the red wire and green wire in your thermostat maintain contact, the indoor fan will run all the time.

Have a Janitrol central air system and the unit outside comes on but the fan in attic does not always come on. If I go to the thermostat and manually turn it from auto to on it comes on. Any ideas about...

If the blower is working with the thermostat in the ON position that tells you that the fan motor works. In the AUTO setting... the system in controlled by the contacts in the thermostat. 1. The thermostat contacts might not be closing. 2. A contactor( or relay ) in the air handler unit(inside unit) might not be closing to send the signal to the fan motor. It sounds like a thermostat or relay problem to me. You can email me at Starztruck4u@aol.com if you have more questions.

I just changed the control board in my york furnace the old one shorted out upon putting the new one in it gives me the trouble code of the led blinking 9 times and the big blower runs continuously please...

On the back of the bottom door, is a led code which will tell you what could be wrong. I would turn power off, disconnect the thermostat wires, but unit back
together turn power on, blower should not run.

Next make sure fan switch at thermostat is not in the on position. Turn power off and put a jumper between
r and w. Turn power on the blower may come on and
then shut off, heat should come on and then blower
again. If this is true, then you have a problem with
the thermostat or thermostat wires, make sure these
wires are not touching

Blower not working

check your thermostat first to see if it may need batteries (some of the newer types of thermostats requir batteries to work properly, These are the digital types) If there isn't any problems there then check the electrical panel to see if there is a breaker for the furnance and if it has been tripped. If not, go to the furnance closet and check to see if the unit is plugged into the electrical service for the furnance, if it is plugged in I would suggest checking to insure you have the correct voltage comintg into the system. If so and you do have correct voltage coming into the furnance then you have a bad blower motor or blower motor capacitor. The capacitor can be checked with a meter that checks capacitors I would have this checked first and then the motor However if you have to replace the motor at that time I would replace the capacitor. Good Luck hope this helps

Furnace blows cold air, ignitor won't glow.

ok this is going to sound funny but it seems as though the polarity is reversed going into your furnance. to correct this proiblem you first need to unplug the unit and where the cord goes into the furnance at that connection disconnect the two wires. Once theses are disconnected switch the wires .All you are doing is reversing the way the electricity flows into the circut board. I would wager that is the problem

Indoor fan motor continue to run even if the thermostat is in auto position with the cool and heat switch in the off position. The furnance don't have a fan on and off switch in the furnance like most....

Try this, disconnect the fanwire (green) on the furnace, if it shuts off then the hot wire from the thermostat is touching the green wire or bad thermostat. Thank-you-very-much!

Blower fan keeps shutting on/off,

Your blower fan turning on and off shows your thermostat is working. I am willing to bet you have the fan in the automatic condition. Check for a sticking contactor at the outside unit.
