The ones i have seen, can use a single deepcycle 12 volt battery. A good home charger to maintain it. Or solar panel if you are good at integrating. You will need a fuse block. Then start from there. Get a car stereo. A small amp. 2 or 4 channel. And some speakers. If you know how to wire up. Your all good. Just fuse everything proper.

I build from mild to wild car audio systems. Give me an idea of what you are looking for? Is this on a trike or 2 wheeled lowrider?

How to choose bicycles for low level riders:If you go to the larger sports...

How to choose bicycles for low level riders:If you go to the larger sports shops or bike stores they will have complete bicycles for sale, usually an alloy frame with Shimano Tiagra or Campagnolo Mirage or a mixture of not much expensive components, These bikes will be built to a price, will ride quite well, wont be very light and is a good point to start. To get something better, you might start with a good alloy frame and if you can afford it, carbon forks, then with what money you have left chose your group-set of either Campagnolo or Shimano, and then you can pick your handlebars, saddle, wheel rims and tires, this is very funny, however if you are working to a budget, it can be tricky.

Determining pedal size for 26 inch schwinn mirada bicycle and compatable upgrade pedals

This write-up explains it in detail.

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_p.html#pedal

Search the page for "Thread sizes".

As far as upgrade pedals go, that would depend on the rider's preferences (toe straps, clipless) and comfort level with them. A Bike Shop will probably stock and install anything you could want.

Keep in mind that the left side is left threaded.

Bicycles....? How have bicycles in the years prior been improved in terms of motion?

The below are improvements over the years. One thing to remember that a HUGE % of the energy the rider puts into moving forward is used to overcome wind resistance.

In terms of motion....

Lighter overall. Lighter bikes overall, lighter wheels - easier to spin up and keep rolling.

More efficent bearings all around/ wheels cranks, etc.

Better design of frames/bars, etc. Positions the rider better on the bike to convert his energy into forward motion Also - better positions the rider on the bike to cut the wind better - lower rider resistance.

better tires, skinner tires - Less rolling restiance -

I was given an older Huffy Tempas, 15speed bike in great shape. but am trying to find an owners manual for it. any Ideas where I could get one?

There may not be one available. What is it specifically you want to know? There's no secret proprietary technology being used on a Huffy that any other bicycle doesn't have.

Google a few things for articles by experienced bicycle riders and mechanics or go to http://parktool.com/ if you want to know how to repair or adjust most components.
