Serial number MY36AF74D8 printer/photocopier, giving message check cartridges, i have taken them out checked and put back but still getting same message

I, too, am getting the cartirudge error (mine is for the black side) and I am unable to proceed past that message. I do see the broken tab which aligns the metal spring inside the plastic cartridge holder, so the spring is hanging. I suspect that this is the problem (I think I may have done that when I attempted to put the color cartidge in the wrong side in error?). Anyway, does anyone know where I can find a repair manual for the HP 2610 and where I can get the part to fix this?

I switched my cartridges, color in black and vice versa, then printed test page then switched them back and they worked fine.

Are you using official Cannon cartridges or "ink refill" cartridges? Did you reset your ink levels in the software?

I have a hp officejet all-in-one 6213 series printer . It was bought in South Africa about 2 yrs ago , now I am living in London ,England I have moved regions and the cartridges which were used in SA were hp 131 and hp 135 . I have found compatible hp 344 & 338 cartridges here in the uk ; but when I inserted them into my all- in- one system TH READING FROM THE SYSTEM STATES THAT there is a CARTRIDGE ERROR FOR USE IN THAT PRINTER. My question is how do I make my system accept these cartridges ? Lenna15

the problem is the little poorly designed metal thing that is holding up the ink cartridge get's stuck between the cartridge and the printed circuit and it brakes the circuit.must have been some **** drawering on a napkin that came up with that one.wasted a nice unit for that two cent piece of metal.

Can you find a friend with a similar HP printer, i.e., one that accepts the same model-number of ink-cartridge? If the cartridge gives the same error-message in the other printer, it's time to responsibly recycle your "dead" cartridge, and give the brand-new cartridge to your friend, for his/her usage.

After refilling my hp deskjet f4185 cart it gives error message why so


Try putting in a DIFFERENT cartridge first then back to the refilled one.

HP tried forcing one to install new by imbedding a serial number in the cartridge read by the printer. Once you temporarily change to a different serial number it will accept the old again.

Hp PSC 950 gives me a message to remove and check black cartridge


Did you remove the tape from the contacts of the new black cartridge? If so once the new one is in, unplug the printer from power and power it back on, it should do a full check after a power on off.

Replaced black cartridge in my lexmark 3500-4500 printer. message reads "left cartridge incorrect". Have taken cartridge out and put back in numerous times still get this message.


You may have bent or broken a sensor wire. Check how the other (color) side looks by removing cartridge and confirm that nothing is awry. Otherwise, clean the metal contacts on both printer (power off and unplug) and cartridge with rubbing alchohol and a cotton swab, then try again.

Lexmark x9350 printer gives error message #1203


I logged into Lexmark's web site and checked their printer support page. It said that if you get error message 1203 your ink cartridge has leaked fluid. In order to find the right cartridge, do the following. Remove both ink cartridges, put in one, turn off the printer, turn it back on and if you get the message 1203 that's the cartridge with the problem. I did not get that message. I turned off the printer, put in the other cartridge, and turned it back on. Sure enough, I got the 1203 message again. (I had cleaned the wrong cartridge before). I removed the leaky cartridge, cleaneded it (making sure I did not leave any residue) and put it back in the printer. It worked!

I just purchased an HP Photosmart C7200 All-in-one printer, loaded the ink cartridges and the screen says the magenta cartridge appears to be missing or damaged. I put in a new cartridge- same message...


Hi

If the printer is out of the Box, don not try any other ink cartridges, becoz you must use the HOST ink cartridges that is shipped with the printer for the first time.It seems that it is problem with Host ink cartridge.

You can check the cartridge whether its a Host ink cartridge or normal one by looking at the serial number.If Serial number starts with C9, it Host; if it starts with C8 its normal one.

Only HP can replace it , none of the store sells Host ink cartridges, they sell the replacement ones.
You can either call HP tech support or, return the printer to staples.

Wrong cartridge?


Doubled check the cartridge numbers and that they match what is on the printer. If no match get correct ones.

My printer wont print - it had a staple in a page that was put into the paper stack. it is showing message check print cartridge - I have taken both out and put both back, but it wont change from that...


You steered me to getting two new cartridges. That worked, the error message stopped after I loaded the new cartridges AND turned the machine off, then on again. It worked after that.

My Dell 962 Photo Printer gives error when trying to photocopy.


Hi,

The issue you are experiencing with your printer i.e error 2200 is related to "Scan Carrier Stall error" I believe the steps mentioned below will fix the issue,

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall socket.
  1. Go to www.support.dell.com.
  2. Click on Drivers & Downloads.
  3. Under Option 2: Select a Product as printers .
  4. Locate the printer(s) 962 printer and click Go.
  5. Select an Operating System that is installed in your computer then choose downloads and look for Firmware.
  6. Download and install the firmware, then restart the computer and the printer, however please make sure that you do not restart your computer and the printer when the download and the installation is in progress.
I would appreciate if you could let me know if you have refilled the black cartridge, cause Dell printer often give error messages if the cartridges are refilled and not replaced with an original Dell one. If you have done so please replace the cartridge with a genuine Dell cartridge.
