Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
I had a similar problem.Will your laptop restart? If it will...go into the control panel to the restore point option. Try restoring to a restore point a few days earlier. I have heard of problems with updating the nvidia card. I was told by a tech not to update the cards as there have been problems such as the one you describe. By the way,does your laptop run real hot. HP has been having problems with Dv2000 models for awhile.Mine has been parted out just for that heating problem as the warranty had run out and HP didn't have a fix.
