Hello Mary Pat,
We just took delivery of a 7760 and have not even lifted it off of the skid yet. I've been using an EyeOne spectrophotometer for years profiling papers for inkjet printers and Xerox's support of this approach to color management was one of the reasons we bought this printer.
When you say you have calibrated the printer using the calibrations in the machine I assume you are referring to the "visual color calibration" method accessed through the control panel? I do believe that Phasermatch is limited to spectrophotometers.
I'm not familiar with the "visual color calibration" method, but unless it generates a profile for you to apply to your preview loop in your application, I'm not sure how you can benefit much.
How badly do the prints miss your on screen expectations?
What application are you using to view the image file?
You can contact me by email if you like.
