Question about Panasonic Video Cameras
Panasonic Camcorder PV DV52S I need to clean it. probaly dusty. This was a retirement gift to me and now I have time to use it in our Lake cabin.
Could you instruct me as how to do this. I do have cans of air I use to clean my cmputers and printers.
You can purchase a head cleaning tape. These work vert well. You just put the cassette into your camera like you would a regular tape cassette, then play it for ten sconds only. Don 't rewind. You can keep using it in ten second bursts uintil the problem is solved. If the problem is not solved in this way, your camera probably needs a new video head. This worked for my Sony Handycam and I can't see why it wouldn't work for a Panasonic.
