Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I have a v3c phone and it recently got alittle wet now when i power it up the keypad lights go on then quickly off and that all it does. i can't get any piture on the screen and can't get it to power up. could anyone help me with this problem
I have had this problem as well it seems that somthing in the keyboard has shorted out the only way i could fix mine was to buy a new keyboard with flex cable, they have them on ebay pretty cheap, you will also need a t6 screwdriver to open it up with, first take out your battery and sim card then remove the screws and using somthing like a credit card pry the housing open it should flip to the left where connected by a flex cable using tweezers disconnect you will also have to peel the sticker with all the serial numbers off and i dont know the size of screw driver that is used on the little screw on the hing but you have to get that out too pop the lcd out and then get your keyboard and flex cable out while doing this remember what you are doing and everything should go back easy.basicly you have to dismantle the whole phone be very carful with your new keypad and flex cable,if you dont want to do all this you could seel your phone on ebay and look for a used one there i have seen damaged phones going for up to 25.00 and you can pick up a working one for 50.email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions i have a repair manual and could possibly send instructions that are a little clearer
