Can you give me some advice on, how to mount a 46in tv above my non working fireplace mantle?

You would have to use a mounting bracket specifically designed for the type of installation you describe and it certainly would have to be fastened into the studs behind the sheetrock. A TV of that size will be heavy to lift and install in the bracket

Moen 3836...lost installation manual...what size drill bit for the hand held brkt.

There is no single answer that I can give you because it will vary due to material you are mounting to. If you are going to be mounting on ceramic tile or fiberglass shower wall I would recommend you use the plastic anchors that come with the bracket and mounting screws. Use drill size 3/16 drill holes and insert anchors. Mount bracket and screw in place. If you have hollow wall with nothing but sheetrock to hold the bracket I would get small butterfly anchors from hardware store and drill hole slightly larger than the wings on fastener when they are folded back along side the screws. If you have a wood backer board behind shower wall then drill holes with 1/8 inch bit and use screws long enough to reach through shower wall and sheet rock and mount bracket. Hope this helps you. Thanks P.S. If you have to drill thru ceramic tile you will need a carbide tipped bit.

2006 jeep grand cherokee front headlight removal blue print

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the cover from over the top of the front lamp unit
  3. Remove the grille from the front of the vehicle.
  4. If the front lamp being serviced is on the same side of the vehicle as the engine fresh air intake tube, unsnap the air intake tube from the air cleaner housing and remove it from between the lamp and the radiator yoke.
  5. Remove the three screws (3) that secure the two lower and the upper inboard lamp mounting brackets to the front end sheet metal.
  6. If equipped, remove the push pin fastener (2) that secures the upper outboard lamp mounting bracket to the top of the radiator yoke
  7. The lower inboard lamp mounting bracket is captured between a metal mounting bracket on the top of the front frame cross-member and a tab of the plastic front fascia reinforcement. Push the tab of the front fascia reinforcement forward far enough for lamp mounting bracket clearance while maneuvering the lamp unit inboard during removal.
  8. Pull the lamp away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access and disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (5) from the pigtail connector on the back of the lamp housing.
  9. Remove the lamp unit from the vehicle.

I need to find out how to mount stereo MA-10D speakers to a wall. I can't see any mounting capabilities on the back, sides, top, or bottom of the speakers. Has anyone successfully mounted speakers like...

Hmmm. .U don't have option given for speakers to fix them onto the wall. You have to do the following steps.
Things U need are:
  • Masking Tape
  • Level
  • Pencil
  • Keyhole saw
  • UL Class 2 speaker wire
  • Fish tape
  1. Locate the studs closest to where you'd like to install your speaker. You'll want to install the speakers in between the studs.
  2. Tape the template that comes with the speakers in the center. Check to make sure your configuration is level and plumb. Your template will tell you exactly what size hole to drill to insert the speakers. Trace the opening you need to cut into the wall or ceiling
  3. Cut the hole using a keyhole saw or a drywall saw. Keep the section you cut open in case you can't install the speaker and need to patch the hole you just made. If the hole reveals plumbing, you need to relocate the speaker
  4. Run the speaker wire through the wall, or fish speaker wire from an existing installation.
  5. Install the brackets to support your speaker if one is included with your speakers. Some speakers use clips to secure them to the inside of the wall.
  6. Strip the protective coating from the end of the speaker wire, and insert it into the speaker jacks. Test your speakers now if the wires are attached to an audio source. If not, locate the other end of the speaker wire and hook it up. Testing now will save trouble if you run into problems.
  7. Surround the speaker with insulation to enhance the sound. Secure the speaker into place, and do any necessary patching or painting

I am seeking a template for re-installing my 2 year old microwave. Jenn-aire has none of the templates in stock and can't send me a pdf or file so I can print the template myself. I have tried 2 parts...

Since you can't get a paper template for remounting your microwave, I can offer you my tips for doing this, as I've had to reinstall many of my customers microwaves, after they've done a kitchen remodel.

You can use the metal mounting bracket as your "new" template. Just unmount the micro and remove the metal bracket and you can then position it on the wall or under the cabinet where you are looking to mount the microwave. However, before you remove it from the wall, simply measure the distance from the edges at the top and both sides of the bracket, where it is presently mounted and you'll be able to easily remount it in a new location.

If you've already removed it from the wall, not to worry, simply place it on the back of the microwave and measure the distance from the edges of the bracket to the top and both sides of the microwave's canbinet edges. Allow for 3/16" additional distance and you should be able to then remount the bracket at the new location with ease.

Please remember that you want to get the bracket secured into a wall stud so it can hold the weight of the microwave once it's installed and fastened to the bracket. I also recommend that you use wall anchors at the side edges at both the top and bottom corners to help secure the bracket IF there are no wall studs behind the predrilled holes for mounting the bracket to the wall.

If you have trouble using the metal mounting bracket, you can always trace the entire bracket onto a piece of heavy paper or cardboard, but frankly, I find this unecessary and time consuming, since you've already got the mounting bracket right there with all the holes and such.

Also, don't forget to measure the location of the power cord at the top or back of the microwave and remember you'll need to drill a hole in order to be able to pass the cord thru the cabinet. If your microwave has screws at the top front edge that help secure it to the cabinent above it, again, simply measure the distance of these mounting locations from the sides and back of the microwave cabinet and drill holes thru the cabinet, using a drill bit that is twice the diameter of the mounting bolts. You should add washers to these bolts to help prevent the bolts from pulling thru the cabinet bottom.

Mounting a microwave is best done with at least two people, as holding it in place while someone else puts the bolts in it isn't easy to do by yourself. Also, it is much easier to do, when installing it over an existing range, if you move the range out of the way first, so you can stand under the microwave, instead of having to lean over the range while trying to install it. Not to mention the fact that should you drop the microwave, you'll not only damage it, but could destroy your range at the same time.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

BMW 328i Starter how to replaice

1999 BMW 328I 2.8L EFI DOHC 6cyl

Starter - Removal & Installation

The starter motor on some models is very difficult to see from the top of engine compartment as it is covered by the intake manifold. On these models, without removing the intake manifold, the starter motor must be removed from underneath the vehicle. Because the starter motor mounting bolts are not easy to access, a long extension with a universal joint mounted on a proper sized socket could be used. A three foot transmission extension is commercially available from tool vendors that has a 3 / 8 inch drive of the driven end and 1 / 2 inch drive on the drive end. If used with a non-binding impact universal joint and a proper fitting impact socket, the starter motor fasteners can be removed from underneath the vehicle.
Once the starter motor fasteners are removed, the starter motor may have to be moved side-to-side several times to loosen the dowel pin if it has corroded in place.

NOTE When the battery is disconnected, the radio code, on-board computer and clock settings will be lost. The radio code should be obtained before disconnecting the battery or radio. Once the battery has been reconnected, the radio will not function unless the code is keyed in.
