Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

Autoconvergence option is GONE!

RCA 52" Rear projection HDTV monitor. Model R52WM24

The picture is curved along the top and bottom and the color lines all over the place. In addition, when I go to Menu, I no longer see an option for Autoconvergence. H E L P ! ! ! Bought the TV new in Nov. 2006, almost 2 years ago.

There is a blown fuse and diode located next to the flyback transformer I believe the location is DL231 and the fuse is FL231

CURVED 3D PICTURE THREE COLOURS 3 DISTICT LINES AT THE TOP OF THE PICTURE WHAT IS THE S0LUTION, SOME SAY THE LAMP IS GONE


Call a good TV Tech and have him replace the convergence amp IC's and do a complete alignment. This a $325 job at the most.
Check with your local BBB before you decide on a TV Tech.

Color is splitting, and almost looks 3D.


the ITC222A convergence option missing repair kit at the following link should repair that issue. The kit contains the parts and the instructions on CD

Your describing a convergence problem where the colors are not aligning. See system menu for the autoconvergence. If this does not coreect the problem service is required

3 color lines at top of screen no picture


If you do not see convergence in menu when you go to setup then you have a open fuse FL231 Next to flyback transfomer on right side there is 3 in a roll small brown rectanigler looking caps they are fuses the one in the middle is bad replace it .

Autoconvergence option is GONE!


You will need to replace the ITC222 convergence power supply board and the FL231 fuse on the deflection board. You can get replacement parts at the following link with free installation instructions.

Go to this website I posted and e-mail them with your model and trouble they can tell you what STK chips you need because you will need to replace them to correct this they also have online free tech support if you purchase your parts through them as well as picture installation instructions

ok go into setup menu.... go to convergence.. try to adjust convergence .. does the crosshair move up and down side to side... if not then you might hqve q poblem with convergence power supply if they move then u might have s setup issue
