Aiming picture. My projector while sitting on the table flat and level the picture is pointing up about 25 or 30 degrees. I can not find an adjustment to bring the picture down.

This unfortunately is the configuration of the lens. The projector normally does this to project the image upward for viewing.

The only way you are going to bring it down, is to jack up the rear of the projector, either with a book or something of that nature.

Good Luck

Remote doesn't work straight on

If your remote was dropped it may have re-aimed the IR light. There is a lens at the front of the remote that aims the light out like a flashlight (even though we can't see Infra Red light.) If the remote works good by aiming it down at a 45 degree angle, I would live with it. The alternatives would be to buy another remote or take your remote apart and try to re-aim the lens.

How do you calibrate and Abney Hand Level? The one I have is a CST/Berger 17-645.

You need a carpenters level longer than the Abney level. Find a smooth flat level surface like a table with the carpenters level. Double check the carpenters level by turning it 180 degrees and see if it still shows level. If it doesn't get another carpenters level. Set the Abney level at zero and lay it on the carpenters level or the flat table. The bubble should center on the index line. There is usually two screws that allow you to move the glass tube (and the index at the same time) to center the bubble and index if it is off. Then check your findings. Put a piece of contrasting tape on a wall at eye level. Walk back 20 or 30 feet and see what the angle reading on the Abney level shows. If you keep your feet in the same position; that is your eye at the same level, you should read zero.

I have a Franke double bowl deep drop-in sink that I have already replaced once. The problem is that the bowls do not stay in the frame. One rise us up out of the frame with a sharp edge. What is going...

Assuming your table is level and even, is the bowl itself even also. Check it for even thickness throughout the whole edge that sits on the table top. If that is even also, then you may have to cut part of the table that the bowl sits in so that it will allow the entire sink to sit flat.

Our picture is upsideddown how do you rotate the picture???

Go to the Option menu and select Installation then if your projector is sitting on a table or shelf, select "front/desk". If your projector is installed on the ceiling, select "front/ceiling".

That should solve the problem.

Dell 5100mp projector fan is quiet when doing presentations on table top, but makes noise when ceiling mounted for home theatre. Noise get better after 20-30 minutes, but is just as noisy next time i...

turn it on when sitting on a table right side up. If possible, take the cover off and support carefully nearby the unit. Then slowly rotate the unit upside down and notice when the noise starts to get worse. Have a look at the fan area and see if there is anything that's causing the fan to make a worse noise. perhaps the bearings are getting worn out or something's not as titgh and vibration is being amplified by the fan unit.

I have never used a leveler, I purchased a Stanley 43-512. How do I use it?

Here's how a bubble level works a small tube is filled with liquid allowing only a small pocket of air inside. The concept is that air will always rise to the highest point. The idea is that if you lay this tube horizontal to the earths gravitational pull and the pocket of air goes to one side than that side is higher than the other. If the bubble rests in the center than both sides are of equal height. Your particular level has three bubble dials for vertical, horizontal, and 45 degree placement. Say you want to level a picture on the wall. if you place the level on top of the picture frame you will use the center dial and adjust the frame until the pocket of air sits between the two indicator lines in the tube. You hold the level on the side of the frame, in which case you would adjust using the dial that is perpendicular to the level. the 45 degree would only be used if you want something to be 45 degrees from the gravitational plane.

Angle of projected image

Hi there

No this can not be changed , the PB6100 was actually designed to mounted upside down in your ceiling and therefore the lens is 28-30 degrees upwards when projected on a flat surface.

Flip it upside down and you'll see what I'm getting at.
