How can i reformat acer aspire 5500z laptop when i don't have a acer disk

when you turn the unit on hit Alt+F10. This will access the acer recovery partition from which you can restore. This is provided you didn't replace the Hard drive or wiped the drive yourself

If acer gives you a cd wherein you can insert it and reformat back to original settings, please make sure you shut down the pc and then press repeatedly F12. Then select Boot to CD. Follow the prompts and select Format C: drive to begin reformatting it..

They have drivers for windows xp and windows vista. As long as you have 1GB of memory then you can install it. What you'll have to worry about though is when you go into device manager, if you see any yellow question marks then your going to have to search thru google to find windows 7 drivers for your laptop. They exist but it would take research.

i suggest you install win98se or
Me.then through that upgrade.i think your CD is not bootable.

First of all check if your Laptop has the bluetooth feature. If it has then the driver should have been automatically installed. There is a button in your laptop, make sure that the bluetooth is on.

The mixer should have installed during the install of your audio software.
If you have your Acer CD you can load your CD & look for the driver folder & open it. Find Audio or Sound folder.
Re-install your driver software.
You can open the link below that will open Acer's PDF file that contains your audio software. Depending on which sound device you have in your notebook.
Acer sucks at maintaining the correct drivers for their model no#.
Though you can find the Aspire 5570-2609 notebook, Acer does not list their driver's as 5570-269. They only list Aspire 5500-5570. For the 5570 click here & goto pg. 2
