Question about Canon PIXMA MP750 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Left margin printing not correct

My MP750 used to print just fine - but several months ago when I print an email in Outlook (does not happen with Word, etc.), the far several characters do not show -- therefore, parts of all words on left side are missing.

Any ideas? Cannot locate any preference, setting, etc. on Outlook that would solve problem.

I tried changing the margin, but it just moved everything to the correct margin I listed, but still missing the characters, thus parts of all words on left side of page are missing.

Still not working - changing margin did not help.

This just means that your software (Outlook) does not match your printer's actions. There may be a missing file in the command. Try uninstalling or repairing your Outlook using your original CD for installing it. Choose custom when it boots up, uncheck the Outlook and proceed. Thereafter, boot up the CD again, choose Custom and check the Outlook component again. See how it goes.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling your printer driver to rule out the software problem.

In outlook also you can go to the print setup and set the margin before printing the mail.

Check carefully that you have specified it to use the # 10 and that the format does not include a wide margin. If that fails, try printing the Return address 'right justified' and see what happens.

Dear Glenn27,
As you mentioned, printer works fine normally however the issue is only while printing emails.. so I would like to know the email program that is in use .. I mean, do you use Outlook, Outlook Express or webmail or Lotus notes etc..
If this is a repeated question then I would like to apologies as we experts are not allowed to peep into other experts' solutions so I cannot see the responses by the previous expert.

Also please let me know the following printer settings ..
AUTO WRAP, RIGHT MARGIN, LEFT MARGIN,

What happens when you copy the email text to a standard text editor like Notepad or Ms Word and then try printing .. does it still print with right margin extended?

Waiting for your response.

Regards,
Srinivas
