Usually Bi-Metallic strips are used as thermostat so they show very low resistance i.e. almost zero.
For your help, I am sharing Service Manual and User Manual.
Hello, If the problem is that water come from steam arm only, and if you try to make coffe is nothing happen- try to make several coffees with descaler liquid in the water tank.
Hi
Masters are usually too hot, and its unusual for one to be cool. It could be the sensor on the back of the boiler. Its the double orange wires. It might have to be replaced. When your in there check the boiler for white line by the seam of the boiler just to be sure.
Hi
I would suspect the boiler is leaking and shorting. Common problem when you don't descale on a regular basis or descale incorrectly. Any high temperatures during descaling will turn the gasket hard and brittle causing the leak. If not done enough the scale builds up and expands the boiler causing the leak.
Hi The boiler is bad or you have a bad board. I would suspect the boiler. You could have a wire off the boiler but I doubt that unless its the old pin type.
Order the replacement boiler, (be sure to empty all of the hot water from the boiler first using the hot water function on the right side of your Solis) take your time and open the machine up, the top comes off. There are 3 mounting screws that hold the boiler in place, remove them, be sure to take hold of the boiler before removing the last mounting screw. Remove and replace the wires and 2 water hoses (w/clips). The orange wires the connect to a unique plastic harness are clipped into the harness. Look closely and you'll see a little window in the plastic harness at the end of each orange wire. Use a tooth pick or a pointed device and push the metal clips thru these windows, this unlocks the wires for removal from the boiler.
Here are the links to get replacement parts for your system. They are listed under the Vienna model, which has the same boiler system as the Solis Master 5000.
Best Wishes,
Lane
