Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Device worked fine until one day i plugged into another computer and a box popped up which said "the disk is not formatted" - then asks "format now?" - i clicked 'yes' - but it erased everything i had on the MP3 and now i can't put anything on it all. no matter what computer i use, i plug it in and always the same message pops us "disk is not formatted" - and i don't know how to format it???

Try using this it worked for my m4002a. It's the firmware update software.
After downloading that just follow the instructions that pop-up with the program.
Mine wouldn't do anything before i tried this and afterwards it's been working without a problem.

SOURCE: my mp3 player won't format
This may be caused due to damaged firmware but can be recovered by firmware upgrade. Click on the link given below to download the Firmware folder on your computer. When done, refer to file "procedure.doc", a Word file included in the Firmware folder, and follow the procedure to upgrade the Firmware of MP3 player. Download the Firmware folder at http://www.curtisint.com/html/custservice/manuals/CUR_MPS1015_FW-UPGRADE.ZIP

When I connect my mp3 player into my laptop, it doesn't read it to put music on it. All it says is to connect device and it is already connected

SOURCE: Erasing songs from MP3 player
if you have windows media player, which i uses to drag and drops all my songs, go to the sansa player which appears on the left, click on it. It should show all your songs and mostly everything, right click on the mouse and it should show a list of which song you wants to delete.
