if after doing 6 head cleanings and its still the same issue, that only means that the printer is already having a hardware issue, the printer is totally broken

try adding the printer using the add printer wizard. look for the inclussive drivers installed on the vista operating system. that should solve the problem.

if not try to visit again the website then search for the 64bit edition

Not an uncommon Epson problem. You will need to adjust the brightness and contrast settings and possibly the gamma and colour settings of the printer for both the PC and Mac and then save them as unique profiles. The user manual should explain what you need to do and if you don't have one you can download it from the following Epson Support link

find the manurfactures website they usualy have the DRIVERS to install for free on their site, from there you can download it.

Please make sure that the paper that you are using is included under the printer's paper compatibility list.
Make sure that you are selecting the correct paper type on printer settings.
Trash and re-install the drivers.

The latest R800 driver for Windows
epson12379.exe
(which is probably required for Vista as well as XP) has a hardware interface problem.

When you try to print on a CD, the power button should blink slowly and the paper feed button should turn red until the media (CD) is readied by holding the paper feed button down for a second. However, with the driver above, the paper feed button instead blinks very fast (the printer is being "probed" by the PC in a tight loop I would guess) and so the CD cannot be readied.

The previous version of the driver,
epson11222.exe
does not have this problem. But I doubt it will work under Vista.

Try a new copy of your install disc, obtainable from Epson or try using a registry cleaner. You may have picked up a spyware that has corrupeted registry settings for your printer, which will not correct by just reinstalling. Make sure you have the correct drivers and updates for your printer and for your op system.
