Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1: Windows
The Firewire card (VIA PCI to PCI Bridge Controller) and the Nivada GeForce 8400 GS came up as a conlict in Sytem information. I have upgraded the Nivada. An Inspire 1394 recording system is connected to the firewire card. Direct sound is clear on the output. The sound test and CD player sound horrrible on the output of the Inspire 1394. Is there a way to force the installation to different memory allowcations?
If the motherboard supports IRQ assignment of PCI devices then YES.
