Question about Refrigerators
I have a Frigidaire FRS24BGGB refrigerator and an older Whirlpool refrigerator, both side-by-sides. My power went out as a result of Hurricane Ike and I connected the Fridgidaire to a small 2000W Honda generator. After two days the fridge stopped cooling, although the lights are on inside. I connected the Whirlpool but it also went out after only a few hours. Both seemed to happen after connecting other devices to the generator, so I'm suspecting it's an issue with power fluctuation. The manual doesn't mention anything about a fuse or breaker inside the unit, but could there be something small like this that needs resetting or replacing?
