F7 normally means there is aproblem with the key panel. Many times it needs to be replaced.

F7 error code on GE gas oven model # JGBP90MEA2BC

On this model, code F7 means there is a keypad malfunction, and therefore the range's "computer" isn't getting a valid signal from the keypad. It may be a stuck "touch-key", a bad connection between keypad membrane and the range/computer connector, or more probably a faulty keypad membrane.

In some cases it can be a defective computer module. You can test whether the problem is the keypad or computer unit by disconnecting the keypad entirely. If an error code F7 still shows, then the computer is faulty.

The cotrol panel blinks F7 E6 AND DOES NOT TURN ON AT ALL THE OVEN ALSO ONE BURNER IS OUT

f-7 mean stuck button on key pad or stuck relay on oven control. if the problem started while oven was in use replace oven control board. if problem started while oven was not in use replace key pad . because control board shorts when oven is running then this error comes up. but if the error is both f7 e6 then, F7 E6 shows that Function pad button stuck or Bad clock try to Un-stick Button or replace Clock also if persist then check the connections to the control panel

The lcd scrren on my range displays F7 in red and flashes d6 in g

The code is because of bad keypad/the control panel.Have it changed. It probably non-functional and constant beeping sound is followed as you mentioned.Theres a link to explain more about this for reference. The only solution is to replace the control panel.

F7 is a stuck key. Usually you can't get a key unstuck. Best thing to do is replace the keypad / user interface. Here are some of GE's error codes:

GE
Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes Failure
Code
Condition Check/Repair F0 and F1 Failed Thermistor Control Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC) F2 Oven temp exceeds 590 w/ unlocked door High resistance or interference in oven temperature sensor. Replace oven temperature sensor F3 Open oven temperature sensor circuit Replace oven temperature sensor F4 Shorted wire (Oven temperature sensor) Locate and correct F7 A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC) F8 Component Failure Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC) F9 Program w/ door circuit Check wiring

GE Profile Gas Range oven turns off

I just read that the electronic panel malfunctions due to rear burner use. Now, I know that mine gets REALLY HOT in between the back burners (where the heat exhaust for the oven is) whenever I bake/broil. I am guessing that it can cause the same malfunction fromt he oven, as with the backburners. Whenever I use both back burners, mine shows F7 E6, too. Unplugging it for the night or just waiting til the beeping stops and then clearing it works... until I cook again. I read that the replacement part for the control panel is about $300 and another $200, more or less, to install it! I think this is more like a recall or manufacturer's problem. I have read plenty of complaints and I think GE needs to make a call to fix them!!
