I switched to att.net for incredimail and am unable to send e-mai

If you are using windows mail you need to modify you account settings for the new mail server. You need to know your user name and password for your account. You will also need the Incoming Mail(POP3) and Outgoing Mail(SMTP) and if the server requires authentication. You will get this information from AT&T. Once you obtain this info you can modify the current account or add a new one using under the tools tab then accounts.

Its just hard to send large files in an e-mail. The only one i have ever had any luck with is incredimail as far as sending any large files but its a pop3 mail. Same thing as outlook express. What is your e-mail provider?

If u r using the Outlook, then u need to setup the outgoing email protocol as SMTP. u can do this by opening the Outlook Express > Tools > Account Settings > Select ur to be modified account or click add new. The incoming email should be set POP3. if u r not using the outlook, then explain me more details about ur system and software u r using.

I am unable to recieve or send my emails in outlook express, when my antivirus is on this has only occured recently.

try to check the security level of your anti virus software, it is possible that it restrict the protocol that your mail server is using example ssl.

try to check also the settings of your incoming mail and out going mail server.

Cannot get or send out e-mail

Hello achtymic and welcome to FixYa!

I need to know how you send and recieve email. Are you using Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Incredimail, Yahoo Mail? Or any of the likes?

Also, telling us who your internet service provider (I.S.P) would definently help us as well.

Thanks in advance for all the updated information you feel comfortable providing us with and we look forward to your response!

I am using Incredimail and had no problem sending mail until today. I get the following error message: error 553from ; address not verified see:http,//help.yahoo/mail/original/manage/send from-7.html ...

Yeah, get that comma out of the URL, it's obviously misplaced.
Other than that, it sounds like some kind of error in your online application, and should have been categorized under incredimail rather than classified as a PC Desktop problem.

Setting up e-mail what do you put in the boxes for pop up recieve and send

That would be the server settings for your email provider, you should be able to get it from the website of your email provider

should be something like
incoming : pop.mai.yahoo.com
outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Check with your ISP's setup instructions and make sure the outgoing SMTP port is correct.

Unable to receive incoming E Mail for 3-4 days. I log on, get message "connected - authorizing, then "No items in this view" ?? Can send, but not receive.???

I had this happen once, and in Outlook I clicked Help, then Detect and Repair. It fixed my problem. Try that and see if it works.
