SC 571 is a fusing error caused by not being seated properly or the oil sensor is coated with oil.

More than likely when the machine was move oil coated the senor in the fuser and it has to be taken apart to be cleaned.

The error code could a fixing error code, but most likely it is a finishing problem. Does the copier have a sorter or finisher on it? If so, diconnect it from the back of the copier and see if the code goes away. If it goes away, you may have a sensor out of wack when you moved it... Will the finishing bin move to find "HP"? The copier will work with out the finisher connected. You can also try to do this to tyr to clear the code.. Press "yellow" Reset once then the #'s 1 then 0 then 8 don'tr hold them down... next press and hold the "red" Stop/Clear botton till the display changes...... Then turn it Off and then back ON.... It should clear the code.... Good Luck...

In the service mode (clear modes 107 hold down clear/stop key) then punch in 7807 on the number pad then execute to reset the sc 670, if it doesn't clear you may have a bad controller board or HDD. Hope this helps

Ricoh Aficio 1224c error code SC 544

Well, I have no idea why changing your password would affect it this way. the code you're experiencing is a fuser warm up error, due to blown fuse, thermostsat, possible power supply prob...regardless, it can only be reset by a service tech in service mode once the problem is fixed. Sorry.

Sc 481 on my ricoh aficio 1224

moz-screenshot.jpgmoz-screenshot-1.jpgThe problem (s) could be; defective main motor, image transfer belt out of position, belt mark blurred or absent.

A ITB belt inspection and/ or repair would be a job for tech.
Or you could just order a new PCU which would fix the problem.

Error code SC305 for copier ricoh aficio 1224c

Hi,
This SC code relates to the charge corona cleaner not working or not working properly. the charge corona is located towards the bottom left of the machine after opening the front cover. It will have a screw you can undo by hand and a cable with an end like a telephone cable plug. toner may have fallen in to the unit or the motor that drives the cleaner along the wires has decided to jam up. remove the charge corona and blow it out with compressed air. You can also remove the end of the unit and check that the motor is not gummed up. Be very careful you do not break the hair thin corona wires! Hope this helps.
