I was recently given an old Magic Chef MCM980ARW microwave. Have looked but cannot find a manual for it. Does anyone know where this may be available?

The white (ceramic) fuse may have opened. It should be checked for continuity.

you should know the model number of your magic chef oven

if you don't , you can check it at the back of the oven, there is a sticker.

I have the same problem with my new magic cheff over the stove microwave oven. I call magic chef and they gave me the 800 number for the service center (1-800-775-0202). When I described the problem they told me to just put a plate under the popper and this wouldn't happen anymore. I haven't tried it yet but here's hoping.

It doesn't look like a valid Magic Chef model number.

The word "model" will appear beside it on the model / serial tag on the unit.
