It sounds to me that you have starter problems or connection chaffing.
There ia a component called a starter that connects to the video portion of the MB. the starter then connects to the backlight to fire the backlight up and you could be having one that is dying fast. Seek a professional to replace or get the specific one from a distributer and install yourself if you have the ability. The wires that go from the video to the starter travel through the hinge section and over time these can wear and cause inteference to the screen. Might want to check this out also. Make sure you are experienced before attempting to open up a laptop. The final cause (worst case) could be the video itself, in which case your sunk and need a new MB.

Starting problem

Check all thick gauge cables from the battery to ground, solenoid and starter for tightness. If you find corrosion (it's caused by leaking battery acid) on battery terminals, remove cables and clean battery posts and clamps thoroughly with a wire brush and then scrub with a mixture of 25% baking soda / 75% water on an old toothbrush dipped in the mixture. Continue adding & scrubbing with mixture until fizzing stops. When fizzing stops, the acid has been removed. Next, wash down the whole top of the battery with the mixture and hose off when fizzing stops. Keep any caps secured to the battery! Do not let baking soda mixture enter the battery. You may need to charge or jump the car to get it started again - but the battery should accept a charge for the alternator at this point and keep from draining (assuming the battery is still good).

Why my fridge freezer keeps beeping four hort beeps

Temperature alarm
If the temperature becomes too warm, an alarm will sound and the temperature display will flash. The temperature the appliance is set at will determine when the alarm is triggered.
The alarm will sound and the display will flash under the following conditions:

  • - whenevertoomuchwarmairflows into the appliance, for example when food is being loaded, re-arranged, or taken out.
  • - wheneverlargeamountsoffoodare being frozen at once.
  • - whenevertherehasbeenalengthy interruption of the power supply. Door alarm
If the appliance door is left open for longer than approx. 60 seconds, the alarm signal will sound.

Switching the alarm system ON
The alarm system is always active. It does not need to be switched on manually.
Switching the alarm OFF early
Once the set temperature has been reached in the freezer section, the alarm signal stops and the temperature display stops blinking. If the alarm signal bothers you, it can be switched off early.
^ Press the alarm off button. The alarm signal will stop. The temperature display will continue to blink until the set temperature has been reached. The display then stops blinking, and shows a steady reading. At this point, the alarm system is ready again if needed.

Tv started making a fizzing noise and now it is clicking as well with a slight movement of the screen during the click noises, goes up and down in volume now for a few days

is the fizzing noise when the screen is really bright? if so the scan coils on the tube have come loose and need glueing down with nail varnish i know it sounds strange but it really works

if the fizzing is coming from the tv then you have whats called dry joints

dry-joint_small.jpg
and this will need to be resoldered or the tv will shut down if you can do this yourself then the best way to find them is to remove the back and turn the tv on its side turn on the tv and turn off the light you will be able to see the dry joints sparking on the baord

hope this helps

My brother placed a magnet on my moniter screen since then the screen shows different colours?

Have you displaced the magnet now? if not do it. Even after displacing the magnet retains the problem, you need to again keep the magnet as it was placed last time, this will discharge the electromagnetic process. Good luck

Buzzing/fizzing noise from back of sony flat screen tv

Below is an image of rear side of your TV, Sony KDL-40W5500
Top right corner is marked there and possible cause of noise seems back light inverter board, there are high voltage going to CCFL inside LCD panel and seems high voltage leakage causing that buzzing/ fuzzing noise.

Replace back light inverter board upon voltage leakage confirmation.
Thanks.
