Question about Sanders & Sanding Blocks
Hi Seanfin, Following on from a previous thread. I have a Multimaster that does not oscillate because one of the two arms in which the armature bearing rotates within are broken off. Any idea how you replace that part? Does it come through the whole vacated by the bearing once the circlip is removed and the bearing extracted? No warranty issues here and the local Fein agent has declined the repair . In for a penny in for a pound (i am in the UK). Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Can't resit a challenge.
Any inputs gratefully received.
Kevin in London.
Hi yes if you remove the gearbox from the armature housing then strip the cutter shaft from the gearbox by the circlip and bearing then the fork will fall out.
Have a look at this web www.fein.de/fein-multimaster/au/en/download/index.html
and follow link to the diagram of your machine may be helpfull.
