SOURCE: Maytag Gemini Electric stove fault code F 1-2 when using the oven(s)
The oven temp sensor has gone bad. F1-2 would be for the lower oven and F1-1 would mean the upper oven. If you give me the model # from the sticker on the oven I can direct you to a diagram, part #, and price. These are very easy to replace. Should be located inside the oven in the upper right or left hand side. It looks like a silver rod about 4-8 inches long and crimped on the end. Most of them can be removed from inside the oven by removing the two screws, pull out the sensor (harness and all) plug in the new sensor, put the screws back in and your done. Some have to be removed from the back of the oven by removing the lower, larger back panel and follow the same process as mentioned above. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: oven lights will not turn off, Maytag gas double oven range Prec. touch 750
Hello bohlke75,
Welcome
You said, After cooking in the upper oven today, my wife noticed that both oven
lights were on. I tried to turn them off but the oven light button just
beeps when activated. I individually tried the plunger switches on
both doors but that did not work either. You also unplugged the stove with
the hope it would cancel the lights but they came right back on when i
plugged it back in. You assume it is something in the touch pad since
both lower and upper lights are affected.
Did you leave the plug out for 5 minutes or just do it quickly?
if it only happens on one door then the plunger switch is bad!
if it's both doors then you have a button or control problem. Service can give you a true diagnoses with out the cost of swapping parts randomly!
If it was the plunger you may have been able to get away with a do it your self repair!
Let me know how you do
.
Thank You,
Huuum

You probably need to replace the baking igniter, (Igniter, bake burner
Part Number: AP4102011 made by MAYTAG).
I tested the igniter function by (CAREFULLY) jerry rigging a bridge to wire the BAKE igniter to the BROILER controls. (Push/click plugs accessible by opening up the stove back) Testing the broiler controls this way the bake element remained cold. I then did the same test but connected the BROILER igniter to the BAKE controls and got a good glow. This indicates that the controls work but the Bake igniter's faulty!
You can access the bake igniter by removal of 2 screws at the front at the platform just inside the top oven. The broil and bake igniters appear to be identical but the push/click plugs are reversed at the back of the stove. (hence the CAREFUL jerry rigged wiring bridge.) The parts and wiring are pretty simple and visual once you get the covers off. Opening up the stove back is just a matter of removing several screws. UNPLUG the stove before you work. If you test as I described, make all connections while UNPLUGGED and then plug it in only for the brief test. Unplug again while disconnecting/reconnecting. Hope this helps.

I am attaching a Gemini manual. The checking procedures are the same for your oven.
Two component suspects for your problem would be the door latch mechanisms and the oven temperature sensors.
