Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
The noise quiets down when the screen gets darker, but depending on what i am watching depends on how loud it is. if its a dark movie its kinda suttle but if i am watching a football game its loud.
This is usually caused by video signals overdriving circuits. Too much video causes what you are describing. This is sometimes caused by a bad cable or connection, either a TV cable or a video cable. Hopefully it's not a projector problem. If you can check the connections from your receivers and VCR with the projector on you might be able to pin point the problem. Be gentle and if there is adoubt about a cable, just replace it.
