Question about Intel D845EPI (INTELKD845EPILPAK10) Motherboard

1 Answer

Fuse Locations I have an Intel d845epi/d845gvsr mother board. None of the components get any power but the green light turns on. I think it may have a blown fuse. Can someone tell me the locations of the fuses?

What do you mean by "Display Problem"? Without proper voltage getting to the mb yes you would have a display problem. I am looking for the physical location of all fuses if you know.... Thanks

Dear blankslate,
the green light glowing shows that your motherboard is getting power. check your SMPS first. it can be done
by shorting a green and any black wire(not advisable if you are not a technician). if the fan on SMPS fan rotates
then the problem is with your motherboard(Display problem). otherwise it is a SMPS problem(means power good signal
voltage problem).
thanks,

Hello,

We have repaired many of these systems. The board was damaged when the power supply shorted. You can get replacement motherboards at www.barebonekit.net click on the link on the left side for motherboards and look for Emachine.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

Dear,

ELECTRIC SHOK OR IMPROPER EARTHING IS DAMAGE POWER SUPPLY,MOTHERBOARD,PROCESSOR,RAM
HOW TO CHECK IT.

(WHEN CHECKING KEEP CAUTION :- REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE POWER SUPPLY SOCKET)

1. check power supply watt 400/450 and same another power supply install and check it. if power supply change and system is working ok so problem in your power supply.

2. check CMOS cell on motherboard,(3 volt)

3. Bfore power supply changing check on mother board any capasitor is like as damaged or not.
OR check main chipset ic is marked as intel.whenpower on it is very hitting or
normal)if very hitting require to repair your motherboard.(intel chipset ic near cmos cell or pci slot,)
4. checking of ram on other pc (working or not)(one beeps coming or not,if one beep coming ram is working ok)

Hi sanbme, you're Intel board can run 2x1GB of PC2700 / DDR333MHz Double sided memory. Two 2.5 V 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets with gold-plated contacts.
Serial Presence Detect (SPD). You can see Intel's web site breakdown of supported memory by clicking on this link.

Scroll down to, "The following table lists the supported DDR DIMM configurations". Here you'll see the chart.
This next link supports the Intel D845GVSR motherboard for memory.
