Vizio L32 HDTV 10A - Won't Turn On

Unit won't turn on at all. There is a faint yellow blinking light in the far right next to the power switch. Have unplugged several times with no luck for a reset. Vizio is telling me the "bulb must have burned out" and gave me the number for Repair Solutions. Unit is 2 years old. Can anyone help me? turns on and off by itself. when it's on can't turn it off by remote or tv on/off switch? won't turn on by remote or tv on/off switch?

My light doesn't blink and my unit is about three years old. Is it time for a new tv? Probably won't be a Vizio based on reliability.

Bad capacitors in the power supply. Open it up and look for swollen electrolytics.

I had the same problem when my L32 was only 9 months old (bought it Oct-06). Vizio sent someone to replace the motherboard because it was still under warranty. They didn't give me any run around, so I think it's a common problem. The TV worked fine until 2 days ago. Now my digital tuner isn't working at all. I have a call into Repair Solutions, their out-of-warranty service provider. 800-732-0796.

Normally new screens run about 100.00 less than a new tv costs and then you have to get it installed! There is now easy way around it. You would be better off just to get a new one>

I have a sharp aquos tv model lc-32m400x. When i turn the power on via button at the back the green light comes on for about 10secs then turns to red and flashes about every 11/2 - 2secs. Any ideas.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Vizio HDTV won't turn off cc. Menu-setting and more, I can choose any of options but not on cc. All of them have highlight name but cc is not highligh and I can't use to turn off cc,suddenly appears.

Do a reset to this TV. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset.
