There are a few pitfalls here, first have you accessed the D-link from safari?(try hhtp//192.168.0.1) did you set up a password? if so re do it and make it 13 letters long (the software autofills your password to make up 13, the default infill varies but only the correct one will work! just add anything to make up the total, even As) try this and get back to me

I lost cd to router 1310 how can i download the cd so i can set up router

You do not have to use the cd.
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.

To access the configuration utility, open a web-browser such as Internet Explorer and enter the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1).

Enter the user name (admin) and your password. Leave

the password blank by default.

Find the manual on this link, slow link but you can read it online.:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/4040609/wbr1310-manual-110

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

I don't have the CD for it, can I find it on the internet or is there another solution to this?

Just go to the D-Link website, then click on the support tab and then select your model. That should show you the downloads available. The setup/driver software that came on the cd will be there.

The setup can be done by hooking up to it with a network cable. It may have come with a short one. These don't come with the wifi enabled so you need to use the wire to connect and turn the wifi on before you can use it. There should be a step by step pictorial instruction brochure or manual on how to set up the adapter on that downloads section. It would have been included in the box when you bought it. If you don't have it just grab it again.

I can't connect my wbr-1310 d-link router to my internet... would i have to reset the router?

Yes it will be better if you reset the router and reconfigure it back, To reset it just use a pen or paper click to press and hold teh reset button for 10 seconds then power off the router for 10 seconds and power back on and after that if you have the setup CD of the router just run it to reconfigure it back.

Dlink wireless router

See if you can log into the router...in your browser type:

http://192.168.0.1

Username: admin
leave the password field blank.

there should be a setup button (I don't know if the setup program is in the router, but from the instruction manual, it should be).

Most of the settings should be the default settings, and there is some help listed. If your internet is working right now, it's probably not the router. You might try dlink.com to get the software that originally came on the CD.
