Question about Fax Machines

I have a Canon CFX-L3500. Does anybody know how to program the speed dial?

It is difficult beyond belief to do that with a Canon CFX. However, it can be done. Simply go to the official Canon website and download the ownners manuel for free. It is there somewhere througha link on the main site. A word of advice, while you are doing it poke the bottons with your finger. The bottons are on the front of the machine. Skreech like a wisel and howl at the moon as you do this. Take a tall swig of sea water into yout mouth and then spit it out rapidly on the machine. then do the funky chicken backwards as you yell and screm insainly. this all wil help you a lot

How do i delete memory


Lift the panel press data registration then press #. Press the down arrow to test and press set and set again. this will perform a memory test and wipe out the contents that hold the documents while leaving the speed dial memory.

Your Canon fax can store up to 120 phone numbers: up to 20 of your most frequently used numbers can be stored for One-Touch Speed dialing, and an additional 100 numbers can be stored for Coded Speed Dialing.



1. Press SET and DATA REGISTRATION

The display will show:

DATA REGISTRATION

1. SPEED DIAL SETUP


2. Press SET twice.


The display will show:

1-TOUCH SPD DIAL

01

3. Use the search buttons (up and down symbols) to select a One-Touch Speed Dialing button between 01 and 20.


The display will show:

1-TOUCH SPD DIAL

[1...7]


??¢ You can also do this by pressing FUNCTION, then pressing the One-Touch Speed Dialing button, then pressing FUNCTION again.

??¢ If a number is already stored at the button you select, that number appears.

??¢ If the button you select is registered for Group Dialing, GROUP DIAL appears.

4. Press SET twice. Use the numeric buttons to enter the fax number you want to store.


The display will show:

TELEPHONE NUMBER

TEL =


??¢ Press SPACE to enter spaces between numbers. (Spaces are optional and are ignored during dialing.)

??¢ If you want to clear a number or a mistaken entry, press CLEAR.

??¢ To enter a pause in the number, press PAUSE one or more times

Don't know how to print activity report on a Canon CFX L3500 fax machine.


If you have speed dial "flaps" that you can open, look for Reports button underneath and press it, then follow prompts to print the report you are looking for....hope this helps.

Need to change 1 fax number in group dialing on a cfx-L4000 fax


All the numbers saved in group dail,are separatly saved in the one touch speed dails,you have to locate that fax number in one touch dails and change it there.

How do I set up speed dial


Lift up the cover over the key pad and the is a key marked data registration. push it then push the set key. using the arrow keys scroll down to set up machine then push set, and find the speed dial feature again push set enter your number push set and go on to the next one. Good luck it is kind of confusing
